ABC Logistic continues its expansion and acquires 20 Lecitrailer curtainsiders
ABC Logistic, a company specialising in freight transport between Ireland and Spain, has just added 20 Lecitrailer curtainsiders with Multipunto XL lifting roofs to its fleet.
ABC Logistic sends between 20 and 30 reefers semi-trailers, ADR’s and curtainsiders to Ireland every week, serving a wide range of customers that include fruit and vegetable exporters, manufacturers of structures and leading global brands in the retail and fashion industry, both in normal and expedited delivery for ecommerce. For these transport services ABC Logistic uses direct connections between Spanish ports and Ireland, up to four a week, and sometimes also ships from Cherbourg (France), where there are a dozen sailings a week.
Activity growth accentuated by Brexit
Due to the constant growth in business over the last two years, which has been accentuated by Brexit, it has placed its trust in Lecitrailer to order 20 curtainsider semi-trailers with Multipunto XL lifting roofs, and equipped with anti-theft tarpaulins, GPS and fully customised to its requirements. These provide them with significant flexibility to adapt to any type of load. These 20 new units increase its fleet of semi-trailers, which adds up to more than 140 units including trailers, tippers and curtainsiders.
ABC Logistic is a Cantabrian-Basque family business, which in addition to the intermodal business has a large presence in the north of the peninsula with its own offices in La Coruña, Santander and Vitoria and a 5000 m2 multi-customer logistics warehouse in Jundiz, Vitoria.
